At Rad Frosh, we want everyone to be able to access our programming regardless of income. This is why registration costs for Rad Frosh are done on a sliding scale. When you go through registration you will have the option to pay $60, $65, or $70, or to request a full or partial bursary.
In addition, if you register online, you will be charged a small service charge that goes toward the registration system. It is 3.9% of your total registration payments +$0.70. So, if you choose the $60 option and pay online, you will be charged $63.04. If you choose the $65 option, you will be charged $68.24. If you choose the $70 option you will be charged 73.43.
Paying by cash/cheque
If you would like to avoid the service charge, we are happy to take payment by cash or cheque! You can still register on the website and select the ‘Bursary’ option. We’ll get in touch with you by email to confirm how much you’ll be paying, and you’ll be able to drop the cheque off at our office or stop by our table at the Y-Intersection the week before Frosh!
We are happy to take registrations in-person during the lead up to Frosh! We will be at the Y-Intersection and able to take payment by cash or cheque. You can also stop by our office to register!
If the cost of Rad Frosh ($60) is prohibitive for you, please get in touch to request a bursary! You can request one while registering online, or you can email us directly to request one if you wish to register in person. Bursaries can be full or partial, and if you request one we’ll be in touch to work out the details!
Crash Pad is a new initiative for all frosh participants which allows the option to sleep at the SSMU building during frosh. If you live far from campus, you may want to register for this on the McGill Orientation site.
