Working Groups Updates
Here are some of the updates from previous and present working groups:
October 22nd, 2010- Justice for the Victims of Police Killings
QPIRG Working Group “Justice for the Victims of Police Killings” held a march on Saturday to commemorate the victims of police killings. The march (along with a vigil that took place the day before) involved the families, friends, and allies of many of those victims, who continue to fight for justice for their loved ones.

Oct 22nd, 2010- Radical Reference

October 5th, 2010– Former STAC member wins an Emmy
Last week, the McGill Tribune interviewed Blake Sifton, a McGill grad who was part of the first ever student group to win an Emmy, for their documentary entitled “Ghana: Digital Dumping Ground”. In the interview, Sifton attributed his start in investigative journalism to his work with Students Taking Action in Chiapas (STAC), an old QPIRG McGill working group. Check out the article here!
