Featuring interviews with bartenders and bussers\, the film inquires into the impact of nightshift work on one’s physical and mental health\, as well as the alternative social norms of the bar at night. \n24 heures ou plus\n1973\nGilles Groulx\n113 minutes\nfrançais avec sous-titres anglais \nA radical documentary capturing the energy of the labor movement in Québéc in the early 1970s\, a time when Québéc’s three largest unions— CSN\, FTQ\, and CEQ— came together to take a stand against the Québéc government. Groulx exposes the evils of consumer society in the context of workers’ rights\, offering a Marxist critique of the capitalist ethos.
