DESCRIPTION:Elderberry Syrup Workshop\nJoin us for a demonstration of how to make elderberry syrup and a discussion around the medicinal properties and culinary applications of sambucus nigra\, the black elderberry. This workshop will be facilitated by Andrea McDonald @and.ree.ah \nDate: Friday\, October 20th\nTime: 3-5PM\nLocation: Le Frigo Vert @lefrigovert (1440 rue Mackay) \nAbout the facilitator:\nBoozhoo! I am a two spirit Anishinaabe herbalist and community educator. I believe that our plant nation relatives who thrive on this island hold special medicine to share with us\, and that being in good relation with these relatives is an essential part of community care and resilience.\n​​\nThis workshop takes about an hour and a half\, during which an introduction to the plant matter and its medicinal constituents would be discussed. At the end of the workshop\, participants will be able to taste the results of the demonstration. \nRegister here
