DESCRIPTION:Join us on March 26\, from 6-8 PM in the QPIRG McGill Alternative Library to learn the basics of Tatreez embroidery. Tatreez is a Palestinian embroidery tradition that has been passed down through generations that carries stories of land\, identity\, and resistance. \nThis beginner-friendly workshop will be guided by local Palestinian Suzane Obeid\, and will create space to learn about the significance of this cultural practice in preserving memory\, identity\, and as a form of resistance against erasure and ethnic cleansing. \nAll materials will be provided\, and no prior experience is necessary.
