{"id":1350,"date":"2020-11-23T20:02:21","date_gmt":"2020-11-23T20:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qpirgmcgill.org\/?page_id=1350"},"modified":"2026-10-21T12:46:39","modified_gmt":"2026-10-21T16:46:39","slug":"working-groups","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/qpirgmcgill.org\/fr\/working-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00c0 propos des groupes de travail"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 id=\"about-working-groups\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c0 propos des groupes de travail<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working Groups are autonomous organizations and collectives, made up of students and community members, who undertake action and research into issues at the core of QPIRG McGill\u2019s mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They organize throughout the year around a plethora of issues, including migrant justice, Indigenous solidarity, access to trans healthcare, and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our working groups receive support (both financial and administrative) from QPIRG-McGill. All working groups are allocated a budget (for projects\/events they wish to pursue throughout the year) in September and will have access to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Les ressources du bureau du GRIP (t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, photocopieuse, fax)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Une biblioth\u00e8que de ressources radicales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Des ordinateurs avec acc\u00e8s \u00e0 Internet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meeting spaces at the QPIRG library and office at 3516 Av du Parc (we regret that this space does not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L'aide du personnel et des membres du conseil d'administration du GRIP pour des choses telles que le soutien aux projets, la formation, la vision, la sensibilisation, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le soutien promotionnel du GRIP, y compris des \u00e9crits dans le mat\u00e9riel promotionnel du GRIP, et une pr\u00e9sence sur le site web du GRIP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De plus, les groupes de travail sont encourag\u00e9s \u00e0 co-organiser des \u00e9v\u00e9nements avec le GRIP-McGill au cours de l'ann\u00e9e. We have a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/qpirgmcgill.org\/fr\/budgeting-working-groups\/\">page web sur le budget<\/a> <\/strong>to help new and returning working groups plan their budgets for the upcoming year. Deadline to apply is October 30 at 11:59pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-35f06ea7 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/CzNB5ptdWGUduDqPA\">Apply now!<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"how-are-working-groups-selected\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How are Working Groups Selected?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tous les groupes de travail - de retour et nouveaux - doivent se pr\u00e9senter au d\u00e9but de chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le conseil d'administration du GRIP-McGill n'examinera que les demandes qui r\u00e9pondent au mandat du GRIP-McGill <a href=\"https:\/\/qpirgmcgill.org\/fr\/about-us\/our-mandate-new\/\">et effectuera<\/a> des s\u00e9lections sur la base des priorit\u00e9s suivantes, chaque point de priorit\u00e9 \u00e9tant compris comme \u00e9tant d'importance \u00e9gale \u00e0 un autre:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Groupes qui travaillent par consensus\/non hi\u00e9rarchiquement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui s'organisent autour de questions de justice sociale et environnementale, en particulier sur les questions qui sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au sein du GRIP-McGill ou de l'Universit\u00e9 McGill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui sont engag\u00e9s dans des luttes locales de base<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes dont le pouvoir est bas\u00e9 sur l'action collective<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui s'engagent \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des pratiques anti-oppression permanentes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui s'engagent dans une organisation solidaire qui prend le leadership et la direction des communaut\u00e9s avec lesquelles ils travaillent et\/ou les groupes qui sont organis\u00e9s par des personnes qui sont directement impliqu\u00e9es dans le mandat du groupe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui, autrement, auraient des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 trouver un soutien financier et des ressources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui cr\u00e9eront activement des liens entre le campus et la communaut\u00e9 et feront participer les \u00e9tudiants de l'Universit\u00e9 McGill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui contribueront \u00e0 renforcer la pr\u00e9sence du GRIP McGill sur le campus et hors campus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les groupes qui encourageront et soutiendront les nouveaux membres, en particulier les \u00e9tudiants de l'Universit\u00e9 McGill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En outre, si le nombre de demandes de groupes de travail d\u00e9passe la capacit\u00e9 du GRIP-McGill \u00e0 soutenir les groupes de travail, nous donnons la priorit\u00e9 aux groupes de travail qui n'ont pas le statut de groupe de travail dans un autre GRIP. Par exemple, si un groupe de travail a d\u00e9j\u00e0 le statut de groupe de travail au sein du GRIP Concordia et re\u00e7oit un financement de ce dernier, nous avons moins de chances de le choisir comme groupe de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les groupes de travail qui sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 un groupe de travail d'un autre GRIP seront invit\u00e9s \u00e0 pr\u00e9ciser pourquoi ils veulent \u00e9galement \u00eatre un groupe de travail du GRIP-McGill. Un exemple de raison importante pour vouloir le statut de groupe de travail \u00e0 la fois au GRIP Concordia et au GRIP-McGill serait que la base de membres est tout aussi importante sur les deux campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"solidarity-group-status\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Statut de groupe de solidarit\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Board can decide to accept a Working Group application as a Solidarity Group instead of as a full Working Group (if they feel that the group warrants a relationship with QPIRG, but are unable to support the group with a budget for the year). Please indicate in your application if your group does not require a budget from QPIRG, but would like to have Solidarity Group status. This would still allow you to benefit from other non-financial resources, such as space booking, photocopies, trainings, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"working-group-responsibilities\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Working Group Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your group is selected to become a working group, a representative must attend at least <strong>ONE orientation meeting <\/strong>at which your budget will be finalized and general QPIRG organizational information will be distributed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also mandatory that at least one member attend our <strong>Annual General Meeting (AGM)<\/strong> in April. Working Groups are required to submit an <strong>annual report<\/strong> in April each year, prior to the <br>AGM.
