QPIRG Fun-Raiser:

Book & Zine Sale, Art Market, Open Mic, and Free Food!

The QPIRG Fun-raiser is coming up on October 12 and 13, 1-6pm! Swing by QPIRG-McGill (3516 Av du Parc) for a book and zine sale, art market, and open mic/karaoke! There will also be free food from @midnightkitchencollective 🦄

This is an all-in-one fun-raiser event, with the goal of collecting funds for QPIRG to continue operating. We are funded by McGill students through a fee levy of $5/semester for full time and $2.50/semester for part time students. However, this fee has not changed in 8 years, despite rising inflation.

We have also seen a substantial hike in working group and discretionary funding applications, as well as renewed interest in all our programming. Under such a budget crunch, we have had to scale down some of our activities and temporarily close our discretionary fund.

We appreciate your support! Every donation brings us closer to restoring our normal level of programming and reopening our discretionary fund!

There is no pressure to donate – you are welcome to come for food, fun, and the open mic!
