Harm Reduction in Health and Social Services: a Panel Discussion

Harm reduction is often talked about in the world of health and social services, but applying it to our daily lives can be more complicated and nuanced than expected. How can we build flexibility and a commitment to accessibility for people who use substances into our work at every level? What needs to be acknowledged or changed in the community sector to make this more possible?
Join us for this moderated panel discussion with community workers from several Montreal-based organizations who ground their work in a harm reduction philosophy. We hope to discuss and learn from each other about the ways that harm reduction can increase the accessibility and sustainability of community programs for service users/clients as well as staff. The panel discussion will be followed by questions from the audience.
Participating organizations:
– Face à Face
– Head & Hands
– Le Frigo Vert
