A 1.5 hr semi-structured online discussion circle on sustainable practice through the lens of culture and ancestry. We will be unpacking how to approach sustainable practice in a way that recognizes our histories as marginalized communities while building towards a future that meets our present needs. Un(pac)k events are intended to be supportive and educational spaces for BIPOC folks to gather in a spirit of mutual support and care. This is a space for our community to engage in peer to peer sharing of experiences. Un(pac)k events are not a classroom, nor a site of group therapy or professional mental care. All participants are expected to help cultivate a safe space for discussion from a wide range of individuals.
PAC is a non-hierarchical community of Asian-identifying people that aims to create a space that recognizes the diversity Asian experiences and build solidarity within and across marginalized communities. We are a working group of QPIRG and are based in tio’tia:ke.
