School Schmool

School Schmool is an annual ad-free, corporate-free and social justice-oriented resource guide and academic agenda. It is a joint publication published by QPIRG-McGill and QPIRG-Concordia. This activist day planner is specifically targeted toward new students, with the goal to direct them toward anti-oppressive and decolonial resources, artists, activists and activities they should know about (but school will never teach them).

It also provides practical tips and recommendations for resources like mental health support, gender neutral bathrooms, and much more. It features articles on a wide variety of topics, ranging from bike activism to migrant justice. It lists profiles from over one hundred Montreal-based groups working on social and environmental justice issues.

To read the articles online and download PDF versions of past editions of the agenda, check out the School Schmool archive at schoolschmool.com.

School Schmool was made possible with funding from the Young Canada Works Program, which funds one of the School Schmool Coordinator summer positions.
